The Future of Intimacy
In this research domain, I ask: What is the relationship between the metacrisis and our current fundamental structures for human intimacy and resource sharing (e.g. monogamous couple, nuclear family, intergenerational wealth transfer)?
How might we make a comparative study of the "alternative" views and practices being offered by various teachers, writers, and communities? How are these teachers and communities relating to questions of partnership, friendship, family, community, intimacy, sexuality, and resource sharing?
Having investigated various views and practices, what small experiments might we embark upon? And how can we share the learnings that occur within this experimentation in an ongoing way?
